Saluting today's success; supporting tomorrow's

“Go outdoors, young man,” was the sage advice Kurt Hahn, founder of Outward Bound, gave youth as the secret to building confidence and getting on the path to success.

Next week, when financial planners who advise some of the world's most successful folk meet in Monaco to salute the finest among them, they will also be supporting Outward Bound Monaco's efforts to train
the next generation.

A lifestyle auction will be a highlight of the Citywealth Platinum Awards at the Hotel de

Paris on October 10. Organized by Citywealth magazine, a leading private client and wealth management publication based in London, the awards will recognize the top wealth managers, private client advisers and philanthropists throughout Europe.

After toasting those who help royalty, entrepreneurs, the aristocracy, foundations, trusts and landed gentry manage their vast fortunes, charitable money and family issues, guests will be able to bid on donations from international lifestyle companies, including the Kiwi Collection's offering of a stay at Claridges in London, worth $10,000. There will also be a painting donated by a famous artist, as well as memberships to golf and concierge clubs.

Under the patronage of HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco and HRH The Duke of York, Outward Bound Monaco has made it possible for young people of various social backgrounds, and of various physical and mental abilities, to experience an outdoor adventure that challenges them to discover their strength and true potential. It is all in an effort to allow them to appreciate the truth of a slogan Outward Bound founder Hahn used to repeat: "There is more in you than you think."

There is yet some room left in the auction in aid of Outward Bound Monaco, and purveyors of luxury goods or services who would like to support the cause may contact Citywealth's editor Karen Jones at kjones@j-p-c.tv or by phone at +44 (0)771 8588 133. Alternatively, they may contact Monaco Revue's editor, Celia Sankar, at editor@monacorevue.com or at
