Monaco International Flower Exhibition
Princess Caroline of Monaco
Garden enthusiasts from across the continent, including a quite enthusiastic contingent from Barcelona, converged on the terrace of the Monte Carlo Casino May 12 to 13. Like bees attracted to fresh blossoms, they came to savour the delights of Mediterranean gardening at the 2007 edition of the Monaco International Flower Exhibition. HRH Princess of Hanover opened the event, accompanied by her husband HRH Prince Ernst of Hanover and her brother Prince Albert II, the current sovereign of Monaco.

The Monaco Garden Club, which hosted the event, was created in 1968 by the late Princess Grace. In the 25th anniversary of her passing, her memory was evident at the flower show as visitors were able to review her love of the event through a photo exhibit of the Garden Club since its creation.
