Christmas 2007 in Monaco
When we look out our office window, the first thing that catches our eye speaks nothing of Christmas. Who associates yuletide festivities with azure waters on which little boats with triangular white sails can be seen gently bobbing? Not that we're complaining about the weather, mind you. It's jolly good to be traipsing around in a fall jacket when hearing from colleagues in temperate zones of their battles with sleet and snow. Monaco does seem to try hard to conjure up the spirit of the season, though. We took a walk around to see where we could find it.

Kids today! Whatever happened to the idea of crawling up into Santa's lap and telling him what a good kid you've been all year? Sheesh!

Administrator comment: Actually, Rosalind, the exchange between Santa and the boy was all good natured. They both had a good laugh. --CD
