Monaco Revue    Suite of the Month Sale at Sandals Resorts
Monaco starts 2008 on a holy note

Well, well, well. The talent booker at SBM (Société des Bains de Mer) made an inspired decision when selecting the group that would usher in 2008 in the principality. American jazz musicians Craig Adams and The Voices of New Orleans virtually turned the steps of the famous Monte Carlo casino into a pulpit. With their energetic gospel numbers, they had the thousands gathered in the Golden Square shuffling and singing praises as they rang in the new year. With such a start, how can the blessings not pour into Monaco in 2008? Can somebody give us an "Amen" to that?

In response to Faithful in NYC: Just because gospel singers are paid that doesn't invalidate their message. Priests, pastors and preachers are all paid for their services too. For the simple reason that they must all eat!

You writers need to think carefully about what you say. Was this really church or was it just something commercial?

Interesting choice of entertainment by the casino, to say the least.
